Ocean Road working alongside Pacsoft International Ltd (PIL) have completed the implementation of PacsoftMMS at Horizon Shores Marina in Coomera between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
PacsoftMMS is now live following an intensive implementation which involved Installation on the Marinas peer-to-peer network, importing customer, vessel, berth, and rental agreement records, and providing a full programme of training for key members of Marina Personnel.
Horizon Shores Marina has been recently purchased by Meridien Marinas having been owned and operated by Arthur Lowe – a long standing Gold Coast Developer – who had pioneered the demand for marina’s in the region and had grown the marina over the past decade adding an additional 100 marina berths and drystack rack storage.
Meridien plans to redevelop Horizon Shores into Australia’s largest – and most impressive – marina. Horizon Shores will expand to 15 times its current size to offer up to 150,000m2 of industrial space, the marina will more than double to 1,350 wet berths and will boast a fully integrated waterfront resort retail village.
Meridien Marinas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Meridien, a private Queensland company specializing in word class property developments, marinas and resort management. With a commitment to developing fully integrated, 5 star village style marinas, Meridien Marinas promise to not just be places to moor the boat, but destinations in themselves.
PIL and Ocean Road are looking forward to the choice of PacsoftMMS by Meridien Marinas being the first of many as their portfolio expands, and are delighted that PacsoftMMS was chosen as part of the development plans for Horizon Shores.
